HR Generalist Part time flexible hours (Remote)

California Correctional Health Care Services

Under the direction of the Supervisor II in the Human Resources Unit (HRU), this position is responsible for performing highly responsible, diverse, and complex technical personnel-related, consultative, and analytical work . Working closely with all levels of management, the incumbent serves as a liaison with relevant control agencies, providing recommendations and consultations to managers, supervisors, and employees on a wide range of personnel issues. The Human Resources Analyst strategically plans, conducts, and evaluates a comprehensive and holistic occupational health and safety program aimed at fostering a safe working environment. This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in person at least four (4) days per week and as needed/required.
The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. CalVCB uses E-Verify in its hiring practices to achieve a lawful workforce.
