Bookkeeper - Temporary Leave Coverage

Assignment Dates: November 1, 2026 - January 30, 2027

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for temporary leave coverage from November 1, 2026 through January 30, 2027.

This position will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll support, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate has prior bookkeeping and payroll experience, is highly organized and accurate, and is comfortable working independently.

Process and support regular payroll functions, including reviewing hours and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Enter and reconcile financial transactions

Perform bank and account reconciliations

Maintain employee payroll records and related documentation

Assist with payroll taxes, deductions, and reporting as needed

Review financial records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Maintain organized accounting files and documentation

Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

Maintain confidentiality of employee and company financial information

Previous bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting support experience required

Hands-on payroll processing experience strongly preferred

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Professional communication skills and discretion when handling confidential information
