Job Description
Registered Nurse - MICU
Schedule
4x12 Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekend requirements of every other weekend.
Assignment Details
Patient assignment in a 16-bed MICU.
Requirements
Must have an active New York state nursing license.
EPIC experience is required.
Critical care experience required, specifically with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, and post cardiac arrest management.
RN to patient ratio is typically 1:2, with 1:1 ratios based on acuity.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the MICU.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Document all patient care and assessments in the electronic health record.
