RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role you will provide safe, evidence-based care across diverse patient populations, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in diverse clinical settings.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments safely, following Mercy and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes promptly.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self‑care.

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and policy compliance.

Support orientation and mentoring of peers and students as appropriate.

Qualifications

Active RN license or eligibility for licensure in state of practice (or GN permit as applicable).

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or obtained within specified timeframe.

Specialty certifications (e.g., PCCN, CCRN, CEN, or Med‑Surg) preferred based on unit.

Experience with EHR systems preferred.
