HR/Recruiting Generalist

Administer employee benefits programs, assisting staff with enrollment, claims inquiries, and annual open enrollment processes.

Maintain accurate personnel records, attendance logs, and confidential employee files within the HR Information System (HRIS).

Support the recruitment lifecycle by posting open positions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers.

Draft and translate internal HR communications, company policies, and announcements between English and Japanese.

Assist with payroll preparation by auditing timecards and verifying overtime hours with department supervisors.

Organize company-wide cultural events and team-building activities to foster an inclusive workplace environment.

Requirements

1-3 years of HR support or administrative experience within a U.S. corporate setting.

Business-level Japanese language skills to effectively bridge communication between local employees and Japan-based HR executives.

Professional English proficiency for clear interaction.

Familiarity with basic U.S. labor laws, federal employment regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday).

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
