Seconds count in an emergency, and every caregiver in the ED plays a critical role in protecting patient safety and health. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.
How You'll Benefit Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.
This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working nights between 7:00 p.m. - with weekend and holiday requirements.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon hire or within 24 months of hire
One year of current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience OR licensed military RN experience
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior (recent) ER experience
Acute care experience (Tele/stepdown/MedSurg
