Probate Paralegal needed in our Boca Raton and Downtown Fort Lauderdale offices to join our Trust and Estates Practice Group. The Paralegal will have extensive knowledge regarding probate, including prior experience with guardianships and trust modifications. The candidate should have a minimum of three to five years’ experience in a law firm setting supporting a Trust and Estates Practice Group.
What You'll Do: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Provide legal support to attorneys.
Prepare probate pleadings and other legal documents.
Marshal inventory and distribution of assets.
Handle IRS forms such as gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns.
Record documents and deeds with courts, and manage e-filing.
Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy.
Maintain client files, including preparing documents for signings.
What You'll Bring: 3 to 5 years of experience in a law firm setting supporting a Trust and Estates Practice Group.
Proficiency in e-filing and legal document management.
