Human Resources Generalist - Payroll/Recruitment (Full Time)

Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of livestock producers operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Our Mission is to add value to the suppliers and end users in the feed ingredient supply chain through distribution, processing and service.

Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long‑term success and profitability.

Assist with sending hourly applications to Hiring Managers daily as well as helping to complete offer letters.

Answer incoming calls to HR department, assisting callers or transferring to team members as needed.

Become a backup for payroll processing.

Complete onboarding processes for new hires, including following up on benefit enrollment and completion of all new hire checklists.

Assisting employees with short‑term disability, long‑term disability claims, parental leave, FMLA, and unpaid leaves which includes submission of claims, tracking, and managing payment of benefits from the employee.

Respond to unemployment claims by submission deadline.

Updating employee files including but not limited to disciplinary actions, drug screens, and background checks in HRIS system.

Respond to and set up child support orders and garnishments in a timely manner.

Previous administrative experience is required.

Skilled in Office Suite, including Excel spreadsheets.

Must work independently with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of HR principles and practices, employment law and regulations.

Strong sense of customer service with both internal and external customers.

Ability to work in an open office environment.

The position is in the office 5 days a week.
