Front Desk Receptionist Assistance

$15 - $18 per hour

People-Tec, Inc.

PeopleTec is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Receptionist to provide administrative support to our corporate office and entire workforce in Huntsville, AL. This role is the first impression of PeopleTec, greeting visitors, managing our front desk, and keeping our office running smoothly.
We're looking for a flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggles multiple priorities with ease, and takes pride in supporting both daily operations and company events.
Front Desk & Visitor Management
Primary front desk coverage for the corporate office
Maintain professional appearance of reception, conference rooms, and other common areas

Administrative & Office Operations
Order and maintain inventory for corporate facilities
Coordinate shipping, mailing, and office supply purchasing
Send company-wide holiday reminders and communications
Provide responsive support to all 700+ PeopleTec employee-owners, assisting with a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide social media assistance

Lead for Marine's Day, Certification Nation Day, Continuous Learning swag orders, and other morale initiatives
Coordinate lunches/refreshments for executive-level meetings
Assist in planning and executing company events; serve as backup to the event planner

Perform clerical duties (copying, filing, distributing correspondence)
Maintain a safe and secure office environment in accordance with FSO guidance
1+ year in an administrative support role

  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Outlook (calendar & email)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to travel (15%+)
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer

Candidate may be expected to work varying hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization
Previous event planning experience
Proficiency in SharePoint
