LHH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal for a temporary contract opportunity in the Tampa, Florida area. This role will support attorneys and legal teams by assisting with case management, legal research, document preparation, and trial support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Conduct legal research using online legal databases and other resources.
Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and reports.
Review and summarize medical records, contracts, and other legal documents.
Coordinate document production and discovery requests.
Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure compliance.
Assist with preparing exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders.
Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.
Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software.

Experience supporting litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, corporate, or commercial law practices.
Familiarity with electronic filing systems and legal research platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or PACER.
Pay Rate: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
