Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Day Shift

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

RN - MedSurg
Work 12-hour variable shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

• 13-week contract assignment
• Must work every other weekend and holiday
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5 during day/PM shifts, 1:5-7 during night shifts
• Fast-paced post-surgical unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day
• Provide care for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients
• Work in 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit with 90-95% occupancy
• Average length of stay 2-3 days (except joint surgeries)
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility to be eligible
• 2+ years med-surg experience required with recent hospital experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Wisconsin RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
• Must be able to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work as team
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination

The facility maintains high occupancy rates and serves as a Trauma Level II center, offering advanced medical services with modern equipment including Epic EMR systems and state-of-the-art medical technology. The organization emphasizes teamwork and quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Weekly pay via direct deposit and accessible payroll support

• Monthly reimbursement for health insurance
• Maximum non-tax stipends available including lodging, meals and incidentals
• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
