The HR Manager will report to the Head of Human Resources and lead the delivery of HR services within their designated hub, ensuring high-quality support to our offices in Dallas, Miami, and São Paulo, Brazil. This role contributes to the successful implementation of a global HR Operating Model, leveraging the HRIS system under the leadership of the Head of HR.
Be the first point of contact for HR operational matters, and provide HR operational support to locations supported by the hub, ensuring the consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices that are integral to our mission of spreading the gospel globally.
Champion and support the use of the HRIS for onboarding, appraisals, leave tracking, and reporting, maintaining data accuracy and integrity within the system.
Ensure hub compliance with local employment laws, safeguarding practices, and organizational values, supporting policy and process maintenance and development work as guided by the Head of HR.
Support legal and regulatory audits as required.
Act as the safeguarding officer for the designated hub.
Oversee onboarding, probation, appraisal, and offboarding processes, supporting job role documentation, performance reviews, and local benefits administration.
Coordinate payroll inputs and processing via the HRIS system, providing support for time‑off and absence management.
Work with other hub managers under the guidance and direction of the Head of HR to develop best practices.
Support resource deployment decisions in collaboration with functional and operational leads.
Provide timely reporting on HR metrics, risks, and local developments.
Support cross‑hub HR projects.
Actively pursue personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
Comply with all CV policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Commit to continuous learning and development as needed for the role.
Foster respectful, clear, and constructive communication across all interactions and a workplace environment that reflects CV’s commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and Christian values.
Relevant Professional HR qualification, such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (SHRM), PHR or SPHR (HRCI), or equivalent US‑recognized HR accreditation.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist or operational role, preferably in a multi‑site or international setting.
Strong knowledge of US federal and state employment law (including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, EEOC regulations, COBRA, and I-9/E-Verify requirements) and HR compliance practices, including state-specific labor laws for Texas and Florida.
Practical experience using HRIS platforms (e.g. SuitePeople, BambooHR, Workday).
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support distributed teams and manage multiple priorities.
Competent in digital tools, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
This role must be filled by a practicing Christian in full agreement with the CV Statement of Faith, who is actively involved in a local church or community of faith, as this is crucial for maintaining the spiritual integrity and mission alignment of CV in all HR operations and interactions.
This role is onsite, located at the Miami office in the United States.
