Forteza Law PLLC is a law firm based in Miami, Florida, serving clients throughout South and Central Florida. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our growing team in our Miami office.

About the Role

Forteza Law PLLC is seeking a skilled Paralegal with civil litigation experience to support our attorneys in our Miami office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in all phases of civil litigation, from case intake through trial.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation case management

Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision

Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and evidence

Calendar deadlines, hearings, and filing dates, and monitor court rules for compliance

Prepare trial binders and assist with trial preparation and logistics

Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors as needed

Conduct legal research to support case strategy

E-file documents with state and/or federal courts

Qualifications

Prior experience as a paralegal in civil litigation required

Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred

Familiarity with Florida civil procedure and court filing requirements a plus

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with case management and e-filing software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work on-site at our Miami office (not a remote position)

Location & Schedule

This is an in-office position based at our Miami, Florida office. This is not a remote or hybrid role — candidates must be able to work on-site.
