Shift Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
Process incoming invoices for accuracy and distributing to approving parties for entry.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system and vendor check runs.
Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Post cash receipts
Generate customer statements when requested.
Bank reconciliations.
Recording monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
Support month and year-end closing processes.
Maintain historical records via electronic means.
Detail oriented and effectively communicates within the department and throughout the firm working with staff and management.
Reports directly to Assistant Controller.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office Products.
Experience with BST accounting software preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8 hour shift
Salary Range:
$55,000 – $62,000
