HR/Recruiting Generalist

We're looking for an HR Generalist to help us build the foundation of our People function as we grow. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership fast, someone who can work independently, bring structure on their own, and make decisions with confidence, with room to grow into more strategic People work over time.
Own the full recruitment lifecycle from defining role requirements and building sourcing pipelines, to managing candidate experience and closing offers.
Provide input on hiring strategy and role definition, partnering with leadership to think through team needs as we grow.
Support the performance review process, from coordinating review cycles to helping build feedback frameworks and coaching tools for managers
Help keep us compliant with employment laws and HR best practices, identifying gaps and putting the right policies and processes in place as we grow.
Build practical, scalable HR policies, processes, and systems that make sense for a fast-moving, growing team.
Develop and support initiatives that strengthen company culture, engagement, and retention in a high-performance environment.
Own and optimize our HR tools, documentation, and workflows, and continuously look for ways to make how we work better.
3-5 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience, with hands-on ownership across multiple areas of the employee lifecycle. Ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion, fairness, and confidence, with a strong working knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
~ Familiarity with the creator economy, talent agencies, or digital media is a plus, not required
