Quick Facts Location: 1155 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Full-time, schedule TBD, no delivery attendance required Hours/Week: 40 hours (based on hospital schedule) Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Valid Nevada medical license, board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Medicine Experience: Prior pediatric hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Package: Base salary $190K - $230K (discussed during interview) Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance possible Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, HSA options 401(k) retirement plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program Workforce support programs focusing on health, well-being, and work-life balance What You’ll Do Conduct newborn nursery examinations and assessments Perform circumcisions and other routine procedures within scope Engage in pediatric resident and medical student teaching Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, and hospital staff Work within a 58-bed Level 3 NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage Utilize pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery Participate in patient care planning in a postpartum neonatal environment Practice in a supportive, patient-centered, multidisciplinary team What You Need Required: Medical degree (MD/DO) with valid Nevada license or eligible for licensure Certification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Medicine (board-certified or board-eligible) Minimum of 1 years relevant experience preferred but not mandatory Preferred: Experience in neonatal or pediatric hospital medicine Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a dedicated pediatric team at a leading medical center in Reno, NV, providing high-quality newborn care in a collaborative environment.
