About the Company Our client is a leading MEP contractor delivering complex projects across Europe within the Data Centre and Life Sciences sectors. The Role As Operations Director , you will take full operational oversight of the business unit across Germany, the Netherlands, and neighbouring markets in Central Europe. This is a senior leadership role with direct responsibility for project delivery performance, client satisfaction, commercial success, and strategic growth. You will lead a high-performing team of project, engineering, and commercial professionals, ensuring world-class execution on technically complex MEP projects ranging from €20M to €200M. Key Responsibilities Provide overall operational leadership and accountability across multiple live projects and regions. Develop and implement operational strategies that drive performance, safety, and profitability. Oversee project execution from pre-construction through delivery and commissioning. Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the data centre and life sciences sectors. Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers and project teams across multiple countries. Work closely with the Group Board to align operational delivery with strategic business goals. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and consistency in project execution standards. About You Proven experience in a senior operational or project leadership role within the MEP contracting or mission-critical construction sector. Strong track record delivering large-scale data centre or pharma/life sciences projects in Europe. Deep understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and cross-border project delivery. Excellent leadership, commercial, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English (German or other European languages advantageous). Willingness to travel regularly across Central Europe.
