Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele
Job Summary
An opportunity exists for a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Shift Details
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG readings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management and self-care techniques.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
Must have 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
A valid Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. Candidates must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start date.
One recent professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area is required for submission. Charge RN references are acceptable.
Additional Information
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required.
Hours worked will be submitted using Qualivis - Lotus.
