RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. 750 referral bonus available.
RN - Tele
Work in K8 General Surgery unit with 44 beds

• Day shift patient ratio: 1:6, Night shift patient ratio: 1:7
• Manage 6-7 patients depending on shift assignment
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Must have telemetry competency - candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Must have experience with urology and bowel patients (primary patient populations)
• Work with equipment including telemetry, PCA pumps, wound vacs, Baxter IV pumps, TPN, tube feeds, urinary catheters
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Care for patients post cholecystectomies, appendectomies, podiatry, bowel resections, plastics, urology surgeries and nephrectomies, hysterectomies, mastectomies, oral/maxillary, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs
• BLS, telemetry

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
