Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a growing accounting organization in the Miami, FL area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for an accounting professional who can independently manage multiple client accounts from start to finish.
Bilingual English/Spanish is REQUIRED.
Salary: $60,000-$70,000
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of recurring bookkeeping clients and serve as a primary point of contact
Review bookkeeping work for accuracy and proper accounting treatment
Identify and correct errors and provide feedback to bookkeeping support teams
Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP, AR, payroll entries, loans, and fixed assets
Complete month-end and year-end close procedures and prepare books for tax work
Prepare and review Balance Sheets, P&L Statements, and supporting schedules
Work closely with tax professionals during year-end
Communicate directly with clients and explain financial results
Follow up with clients regarding missing information and documentation
Coordinate work with internal and external bookkeeping teams
Requirements
Previous experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients
Strong full-charge/full-cycle bookkeeping experience
Advanced QuickBooks Online AND QuickBooks Desktop skills - REQUIRED
Experience preparing books for tax returns
Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, payroll accounting, AP, AR, loans, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts
Ability to review another bookkeeper's work and independently make corrections
Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
Experience working with or delegating to bookkeeping assistants or external accounting teams
Bilingual English/Spanish - REQUIRED
