What You’ll Do

Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to business needs.

Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on production needs, operate baking equipment, follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise, maintain equipment hygiene, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement, using handheld technology for production decisions.

Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain quality and date control standards, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, execute basics at a high standard, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, using the Open Door Policy and applying these in all business practices.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00*.

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
