Nursing - Travel L&D RN

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Hanford, California. This travel assignment is in a short-term acute care setting, starting 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks, with 48 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 3x12-hour days (07:00–19:00). The facility is a 173-bed short-term acute care hospital offering obstetric and newborn services.

Weekly pay: 2,472 to 2,569 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:00)
• Facility/work setting: 173-bed short-term acute care hospital, obstetric services

Deliver coordinated obstetric nursing care for laboring patients and newborns according to standards of care and the nursing process.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, provide support during labor and delivery, and manage postpartum care.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; coordinate care with anesthesia, obstetric, neonatology, and ancillary teams.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, identify outcomes, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families, provide health information, and document care in the electronic health record; uphold safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote a healing, humane, and patient-centered environment; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (California) required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care/L&D experience preferred
• Current EPIC and Cerner electronic health record experience (required for assignment backfill)
• Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; capable of fitting the 3x12-hour day shift schedule
