Head of Credit & Market Risk

Overview I'm partnering with a leading global investment bank to hire a VP, Market Risk – Leveraged Finance .
This role sits within the Market Risk team and is responsible for providing independent risk oversight of the bank's Leveraged Finance business, with coverage across leveraged loans and high yield underwriting . You'll work closely with Investment Banking, and senior stakeholders on transaction reviews, risk analytics, and risk management initiatives.
Responsibilities Provide independent risk oversight of the bank's Leveraged Finance business, including coverage of leveraged loans and high yield underwriting. Collaborate with Front Office teams and senior stakeholders on transaction reviews, risk analytics, and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Market Risk, Credit Risk, Trading, or a related function.
Experience covering Leveraged Finance, Leveraged Loans, High Yield, Corporate Credit , or similar products.
Alternatively, candidates from a Loan Syndications or Leveraged Finance Front Office background who are interested in transitioning into Market Risk are encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial markets.
