Here, you will make an impact by:Identify and implement improvements that enhance safety, quality, service, and productivity.Partner with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment and reduce downtime.Lead process and equipment improvement initiatives from concept through execution.Develop capital project justifications and manage projects to successful completion.Support daily manufacturing operations, including EHS activities, Management of Change (MOC), OEE analysis, and performance improvement efforts.Investigate defects and process variation using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods.Lead Continuous Improvement projects and clearly communicate priorities, timelines, and progress.Provide engineering support for assigned manufacturing areas, including occasional nights and weekends as needed.Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role, especially with process equipment.Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through execution.Experience with capital planning, budget management, and project delivery.Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methods.Data analysis experience with tools such as Excel, Minitab, and SQL.Knowledge of robotics, vision systems, and PLC programming.Location: On-site Cynthiana, KYTravel: Up to 10% domestic and international Relocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
