Location: Gardner, Massachusetts

Pay Rate: $53/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM

Experience: Previous telemetry experience required; ICU experience preferred About the Role
We are hiring a Registered Nurse ICU for a 13-week day shift assignment in Gardner, MA. This role supports critical care patients and requires strong assessment, telemetry, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, ventilator care, and patient safety skills.
Responsibilities

Provide direct ICU nursing care based on established standards and protocols.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKG changes accurately.
Administer medications, IV therapy, anticoagulation, and critical drips safely.
Care for ventilated and intubated patients, including suctioning and troubleshooting.
Interpret ABGs, pulse oximetry, and signs of impaired gas exchange.
Support hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families based on learning needs.
Document patient care, interventions, and responses accurately using Meditech.
Requirements

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
BLS required.
ACLS required upon hire, or must obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days if holding active BLS.
Previous telemetry experience required.
ICU experience preferred.
1 year Med/Surg experience preferred.
CCRN preferred.
Meditech experience preferred.
Holiday coverage required.
Strong critical thinking, teamwork, documentation, and patient safety skills required.
