Job Description
Five Education are seeking a resilient and compassionate individual to work with all age groups of children in alternative special schools. The role is flexible and allows you to select your preference for working days within a 5‑day week; Monday to Friday. The minimum expectation is 2 days a week. The role supports children with special educational needs (SEN) and social and emotional mental health (SEMH) needs throughout their school day during hours 8:30‑3:30.
Responsibilities
Supporting children one‑to‑one or in small groups
Help pupils remain focused and achieve through understanding their individual SEND needs
Build a strong relationship with the pupils and teaching staff to ensure pupils reach their potential
Essential Criteria
Be empathetic, kind and patient
Have the right to work in the UK (a valid visa)
Provide two recent references covering the last 2 years
Have a relevant DBS/Police check or be willing to obtain one

Your daily rate of pay would be £88.95, including holiday pay. Pay is handled through a PAYE payroll system, the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo reference checks, TRA checks and a DBS. A face‑to‑face interview is also part of the selection process.
