Part time Night Line Cooks

Small Cheval- Wilmette a part of Hogsalt, is looking for dedicated and experienced Part Time Line Cooks ($19/hour) to join our team! This opening is looking for open availability for both the AM (7am-3:30pm) and PM (3pm-11:30pm) shifts. Successful Hogsalt team members are enthusiastic about providing high quality and consistent dining experiences to guests and actively contribute to an organized, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
~ Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.
Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
