TRC Talent Solutions is looking for an HR Director for our client in Austell, GA

Summary: The HR Director is a senior leadership role working closely with ownership and top executives. This role is responsible for strategic HR management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. This position requires a combination of leadership, decisiveness, HR expertise, and interpersonal skills to ensure the HR function effectively supports the organizations goals and workforce needs.

Hours: 8:30-4:30pm

Pay: 115k-140k BOE

Overview and Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Operations: Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational objectives, oversee day-to-day HR operations, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead recruitment efforts, manage onboarding processes, and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent

Employee Engagement and Relations: Promote a positive work environment, mediate conflicts, address employee concerns, and enhance workforce motivation and satisfaction

Policy and Compliance: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and organizational standards

Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation structures, collaborate with external partners for benefits administration, and ensure competitive and equitable employee packages

Training and Development: Organize and monitor staff training programs, leadership development initiatives, and career path planning to support employee growth

Reporting and Budget Management: Manage the HR department budget, report to senior leadership or CEO, and provide strategic guidance to executive management

Team Leadership: Directly manage 2HR department subordinates to achieve the companys goals and objectives.

OSHA 300 log maintenance as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in HR with 150 personnel oversight and a demonstrated increase in responsibility. Prior experience as top HR person, reporting to Owners/VPs.
• 24/5 shift schedule and either Manufacturing/Distribution site experience required
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Worker's Compensation, OSHA 300 Logs, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements
• Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field and SHRM-CP are required; advanced degrees or HR certifications are advantageous (e.g., SHRM-CP) are advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Spanish bi-lingual advantageous.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency t in Paylocity preferred and Microsoft Office Suite
