Graduate Nurse - Medical Telemetry - Nights

Our Cardiac Telemetry Unit is seeking motivated night‑shift nurses to join our team for two or three 12‑hour shifts per week. We care for patients before and after cardiac procedures and take pride in delivering exceptional care while having fun along the way. Primary Work Shift: Night (rotational)
Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
Sign‑On Bonus: Up to a $25,000 sign‑on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.
What You’ll Do Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
Serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit assignment and patient safety needs.
Educate patients and families on health promotion, treatment plans, and disease management.
Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications in accordance with UHS policies.
Support effective resource use, including staffing, time management, supplies, and services.
Adhere to all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and UHS policies.
Participate in Nursing Shared Governance, Unit Council activities, and improvement initiatives.
Contribute to peer review processes and integrate evidence‑based practice and nursing research.
Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees, students, and clinical observers.
Engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and mandatory training.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, effective patient care.

Education & Experience Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Licensure & Certifications Minimum Required: Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
Preferred: CCRN certification.
Additional skills certifications as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
