What You'll Do
Deliver high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit using the nursing process
Assess patient learning needs and provide education tailored to pediatric patients and their families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage patient care plans
Delegate responsibilities effectively to licensed and ancillary team members
Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately
Adapt care strategies to meet diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious needs
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations
What You Need
Required:
Active RN license in Louisiana
BLS & PALS Certifications
CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
Proficiency with healthcare software and record-keeping
Effective communication skills

Preferred:
Certifications in clinical specialty areas in pediatric nursing
Additional relevant certifications or training
