What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PICU patients with diagnoses such as MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Neuro conditions, and post-surgical care
• Administer medications, including titrating pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agents
• Monitor patients using telemetry, perform IV placements, blood draws, wound care, and manage drains and wound vacs
• Collaborate with hospitalist, intensivist, RT, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Follow hospital protocols and EMR documentation via Meditech Expanse
• Support with patient education and family communication
• Adjust care based on acuity and patient needs, including floating to Adult ICU or Med/Tele if cross-trained and approved

What You Need

• Valid state RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; NRP preferred
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience; experience with adult ICU or Med/Tele a plus
• Proficiency with PIV, CVL, telemetry, wound care, titration of medications
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
