Production - Masker

Paint Prepper
SCHWING America is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Paint Prepper to join our Paint Department. In this role, you will help prepare our concrete pumping equipment for painting, ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned, sanded, masked, and ready for a high-quality finish.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do

Clean, sand, and mask equipment and components in preparation for painting.
Apply sanding primer using spray equipment.
Remove masking materials and clean equipment after the painting and drying process.
Load and secure spare parts onto completed units.
Load and unload parts, tools, and boom hoses from trucks.
Move components and materials between preparation areas and paint booths.
Inspect prepared surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Assist with additional Paint Department duties as needed.
What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in automotive detailing, auto body preparation, paint preparation, or a related field.
• Experience with sanding, masking, surface preparation, or spray equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes.
• Forklift certification or willingness and ability to complete SCHWING's forklift training.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to work on the production floor throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with sanding, masking, cleaning, and preparing large equipment.
