Oncology Care Registered Nurse Travel

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Outpatient) in Ukiah, California. Weekly pay: 2,050–2,098 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Setting: outpatient oncology care within a short-term acute care hospital environment.

Deliver coordinated nursing care for outpatient oncology patients in a clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.

• Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessments, and develop a care plan to achieve desired outcomes; implement the plan and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as appropriate; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures and assist the physician with minor procedures; Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and provide education to patients and families about treatment plans, safety, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the treatment team, educate patients/families, document care in the medical record, and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.

Current RN license in the state of California (required)

• 2–3 years of recent oncology or outpatient nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting with a rotating 4x10-hour schedule; EPIC EMR training and onboarding support
