Security Officers (Part & Full-Time Shifts)

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover in Johnston, RI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.

Support site operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal post orders and client‑specific instructions.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
