TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Omaha, NE | Acute Care
Contract (13 or 26-week options) | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48-hour weekly options available
Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit serving adult patients (18+) with acute and/or chronic conditions including sepsis, respiratory illness, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, cardiac disease, and COVID-19
Manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care
Operate within a team-based care delivery model alongside Lead Nurses, Virtual Nurses, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants, working at the top of your scope of practice
Float frequently across units and campuses as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Nebraska (pending license accepted; Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required , obtained at a large, urban hospital
EPIC charting experience required
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center (may be considered in lieu of travel experience for first-time travelers)
Familiarity with team-based care delivery models involving multidisciplinary staff
Experience with complex patient populations including post-bariatric, tracheostomy, and end-of-life care
