It's time to look at Taylor.Your OpportunityHeinrich Envelope, a Taylor Corporation Company, is looking for a Material Handler to join the team in our Golden Valley, MN facility.Your ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer and carrier specificationsReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and accurately record inventoryMaintain accurate records of shipping activities and inventory transactionsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safelyGenerate shipping labels and documentation using ERP or shipping softwareCoordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.) to schedule pickups and resolve shipping issuesKeep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsConduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory auditsCommunicate effectively with internal departments (production, customer service, etc.).Your Shift1st Shift; Tuesday - Friday 6:00am - 4:30pmYou Must HaveAbility to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventoryAbility to follow instructionsAbility to work as a team member and independentlyFlexibility to perform a variety of job assignmentsFamiliar with basic computer operationsMath skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals are required to follow instructionsAbility and willingness to perform repetitive tasksAbility to follow safety proceduresPrior warehouse/receiving experienceWe Would Also PreferHigh School Diploma or the equivalent1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics roleExperience in a production related environmentBasic computer skills; experience with ERP or shipping systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsForklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredThe anticipated hourly for this position is $18.00 - 20.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
