Visits may include initial evaluations, routine treatment sessions, reassessments, and discharge visits. Patient caseloads are generally focused on adult and geriatric populations with a variety of diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, post-operative care, neurologic disorders, cardiopulmonary disease, and general deconditioning. You will complete all documentation in an electronic medical record system, often using a laptop or tablet in the field. Timely documentation, clear goal-setting, and measurable outcomes are emphasized, with support from clinical leadership to ensure you can maintain both quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safe mobility techniques, use of assistive devices, and environmental modifications to reduce fall risk.
