Accounting Coordinator

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting their valued client in the search for a Construction Bookkeeper to join their growing business. This highly visible role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, impact business operations, and play an integral part in the financial success of a dynamic organization.

Take ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.

Prepare and manage customer invoicing, collections, payment processing, and account reconciliations.

Support job costing, project billing, change orders, retainage tracking, and related accounting activities.

Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects for executive leadership.

Partner cross-functionally with project teams and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and resolve accounting issues.

3+ years of accounting experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting.

• Experience working in a project-based or construction-related environment is a plus.
• Understanding of job costing, progress billing, retainage, and general accounting practices.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software; Gain exposure to leadership and participate in meaningful financial projects.
