Job Description
Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)
Shift: Evenings
Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Pay Range: $27.96 - $29.37 per hour
Job Description: Responsible for matching invoices and purchase orders in an automated Accounts Payable System. Performs specifically assigned and related duties. Processes payment as required.
Responsibilities
- Post payments/denials
- Process credit card payments
- Maintain cash log
- Research and process patient and insurance refunds
- Reconcile and validate payments with bank deposits
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred
- 2-3 Years Medical Billing experience preferred
- Hospital Billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4/HCPCS Codes, Claims Systems preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
