Responsibilities
Lead the culinary team in preparing and executing exceptional food for a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.
Develop creative and appealing menus that align with client preferences, event themes, and seasonal availability, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food sourcing, preparation, cooking, and plating with meticulous attention to detail.
Manage inventory levels, place food and supply orders, and maintain cost controls to ensure profitability.
Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Collaborate closely with the event planning team and clients to understand their vision and deliver culinary creations that exceed expectations.
Continuously explore new culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.
Requirements
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in catering or a high-volume event setting.
Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation for diverse events.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (e.g., ServSafe certification preferred).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Creative flair and a passion for culinary excellence.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
