About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement, vendor management, and inventory needs in a fast-paced manufacturing/consumer goods setting. You'll ensure materials are purchased on time, suppliers meet expectations, and any supply chain issues are quickly resolved.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase materials according to MRP planned orders to support domestic and global demand. "Purchases materials to ensure supplies meets the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) 'planned order' requirements..."
Manage vendor delivery schedules and day-to-day performance.
Identify and resolve shortages, non-conforming materials, and excess/obsolete inventory. "...anticipated product shortages, non-conforming material and excess or obsolete materials are continuously monitored and resolved."
Communicate risks, delays, and solutions to internal teams.
Evaluate supplier contracts and ensure compliance.
Support inventory analysis and consigned inventory programs.
Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with internal/external teams.
Build reports to improve purchasing and supplier management processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of buying/procurement experience in manufacturing or consumer goods.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
