TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greece, New York, 14626!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, managing patients with diagnoses including osteoarthritis and fractures
Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement as mandatory competencies
Manage IV insulin protocols, heparin protocols, PCA, feeding tubes, chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), and wound care including wound vac
Oversee respiratory support including external CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), and tracheostomy management
Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
Active, unencumbered New York State RN license required at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
Epic EMR experience is a hard requirement
Proficiency in phlebotomy and peripheral IV insertion
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management in a high-acuity MS/Tele environment
Experience with every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
PCT support available on all units for vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living, allowing RNs to focus on clinical care
First-time travelers are welcome, making this an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to begin their travel nursing career
