About This Role The Transfer Center Nurse Specialist will provide critical assessments and guide referring facilities to the appropriate physician, ensuring customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment.
Highlights Location: Syracuse, NY
Schedule: Part-time, Evenings with some weekends and holidays
What You'll Do Provide timely assessments for patient transfers
Guide referring facilities to appropriate physicians
Manage multiple phone lines and transfer logistics
Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations
Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing
Experience:
1 year of hospital-based experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with an Associate's degree
Licenses & Certifications:
NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible)
CPR-BLS required by time of appointment
