Travel Respiratory Therapist

The role involves working as a travel respiratory therapist. You will be responsible for a variety of patient care tasks. You will perform nebulizer treatments and vent checks. BiPap checks and ABG draws will also be part of your responsibilities. You will assist with intubation and extubation procedures. Bronchoscopy assistance and PEP therapy will be required. Running lactic acid tests and performing EKGs will be part of the job as well. Patient assessment is a key duty in this position. A team player mentality is essential for success. You should be willing to help where needed. Kindness and compassion are important personality traits for this role. Floating may be required to ICU, PCU, ED, and other floors. Rotating weekends may be part of the schedule.

Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RRT license required Certifications: ALS, PALS, NRP
