Role Overview and ResponsibilitiesThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Citizen, U.Permanent Resident (i.e., "IntroductionThe Purchasing Supervisor leads and oversees day-to-day procurement operations to ensure material availability, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for developing and coaching the purchasing team, setting priorities, and driving execution aligned with business execution aligned with business objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and risk assessment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for the purchasing team.Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.Support supplier negotiations, escalations, and performance improvement activities.Partner with Supply Chain leadership on planning, forecasting, and sourcing strategy execution.Monitor and report key procurement KPIs, including shortages, past-due orders, and supplier performance.Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements (ISO/AS, ITAR, internal audits).Drive continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing processes and workflows.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development planning for purchasing team members.Qualifications, Skills and AttributesCore RequirementsStrong people leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
