As a Security Officer Entry Control in Provo, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork, integrity, and outstanding customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries entering restricted areas.
Monitor access points, gates, and security-related systems; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
