Security Professional - Retail Patrol

Security Officer Area Patrol in New Castle, DE will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail and malls. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.77 per hour

Saturday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related practices, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security‑related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic locations to support loss prevention efforts, observe for policy violations, and report suspicious behavior.

Assist with de‑escalation of customer and/or visitor concerns, provide directions and information, and help support an orderly environment at the location.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
