Senior Technical Sourcer, Recruiting

Independently develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies for complex and niche technical roles, particularly those requiring security clearances or specialized IT skills.
Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize sourcing approaches, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, OSINT, Chrome Extensions, scraping, CSEs, and specialized platforms like HirEZ, SeekOut, Clearancejobs.Conduct in-depth research on technical roles and industry trends to understand technical requirements, demand for skills, and the competitive landscape using tools such as Lightcast, TalentNeuron, or other specialized platforms.
Continuously assess and improve sourcing processes, systems, and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment function.
Source candidates using social media platforms, professional networks, and job boards, and engage them through various channels, including email, phone, text, and social media.
Present interested and qualified candidates to Recruiters to support ongoing recruitment efforts and enhance talent pipelines.
Negotiate with top candidates to secure their interest and commitment, maintaining a high level of candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining timely and clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
Mentor and guide junior sourcers, providing training on best practices, advanced techniques, and sharing industry knowledge.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to prepare reports and summaries, contributing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, senior leadership, and the recruitment marketing teams to enhance employer branding efforts.
Represent the employer brand effectively to attract top talent and position Maximus as an employer of choice in the industry.
Attend industry conferences, hiring events (both in-person and virtual), and Maximus-sponsored events to promote the company and its job openings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment with department-specific hiring needs and influence decisions within the job function to increase hiring effectiveness and position Maximus as a preeminent employer in the government contracting space.
Maintain and update candidate records in ATS and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and governmental regulations.
Keep detailed records of sourcing activities, candidate communications, and compliance checks to adhere to internal policies and governmental regulations.
Understand and apply OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) guidelines, as well as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and requirements.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expertise in data-driven sourcing, using metrics to refine strategies and optimize processes.
Experience in mentoring and guiding junior sourcers, providing training and sharing best practices.
Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, senior leadership, and recruitment marketing teams.
Strong negotiation skills to secure top candidates and maintain engagement throughout the recruitment process.
Deep understanding of industry trends, technologies, and talent market dynamics, with expertise in using sourcing tools like LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, OSINT, Chrome Extensions, and specialized platforms.
Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery of candidates for critical roles.

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
