We strive to create a workplace where every voice is heard and valued, fostering a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives drive our success.At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values—they are the pillars of our continued success.OverviewThe Director of Engineering is responsible for directing, overseeing, and utilizing functional authority for operation, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of all projects or process-related activities of engineering design or commissioning.ResponsibilitiesDirects a design team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff in the development of building designs that support client requirement and schedule.Directs a commissioning team of commissioning agents, and commissioning technicians to perform the commissioning team functions that support client requirement and schedule.Delegates projects among engineering or commissioning staff according to specialized knowledge, skills and abilities; and consider project requirements.Approves process specification and design or commissioning standards, and reviews engineering designs for accuracy and compliance.Maintains a strong relationship with clients and vendors, and develops new and expanded business based upon successful delivery of existing projects.QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and QualificationsMust have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited program.Acceptable Degree Alternatives: Engineering Technology / Construction Management Degree.5 years minimum experience as a Project Manager.Alternative Minimum Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience as a Project Manager for the Company.Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project experience.Professional Engineering License.Must be able to lead presentations for marketing and business development for projects.Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Education, Experience, and QualificationsProject Management Certification from a certifying agency (PMI)Travel Requirements30% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.Physical/Work Environment RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Be able to attend job site meetings as well as walk job sites under construction.#ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
