Full-Time Bookkeeper (Accounting)

Bookkeeper PositionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks, QuickBooks, Kashoo and Cashflow. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.Responsibilities:Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting processVerify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledgerBring the books to the trial balance stagePerform partial checks of the posting processComplete tax formsEnter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statementsProcess accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely mannerSkills:Proven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in English and in MS OfficeCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailBS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
